He loves his online lessons and really looks forward to learning and trying different tunes. Harman has formed a connection with his teachers and is excited and confident with his knowledge. Each lesson covers in depth every aspect of the piece and Harman grasps and retains. He is over the moon for scoring 100% in his Grade 1 Electronic Keyboard exam. I have only been having musical theatre lessons with Jenni for just over a year and yet feel I have grown in my confidence, performance and ability massively since. I’ve recently passed my grade 5 musical theatre with distinction thanks to the enjoyable and high quality teaching. Jenni has helped find my perfect vocal style and the strengths and weaknesses within it, helping me improve all the time. The whole school is friendly, warm and welcoming: a brilliant atmosphere for any musician to truly excel and thrive in. I thoroughly enjoy every lesson spent and think I grow more and more each time. I highly recommend TMS to any aspiring musical students.

My name is Sophia and I’m 5 years old, I’ve been having piano lessons with Josie for about a year and I think she’s the best piano teacher ever! I’ve continued my lessons virtually but really miss her she takes her time to explain everything to me again and again until it’s perfect! Thank you Josie love and miss you! As her mother I would like to say I really appreciate your patience kindness and making the lesson fun and age-appropriate. Sophias always excited and enthusiastic online or in person when it’s time for her music lesson, you have managed to give her a regular routine in these unpredictable times! A big thank you!

During this difficult time, I was unable to have my regular lessons back at Telford Music School but that didn't put an end to my lessons because instead, I had my lessons with my teacher Jayne through video chats as we're told to stay at home. The lessons I had through video chats have been really fun and enjoyable. Even though we are having to go through a tough time, it doesn't mean I have to put an end to the lessons. Lastly I had my Grade 3 Keyboard Exam during this time and I got 89% resulting it as a distinction. I was super happy and amazed when I heard the news, I was super proud of myself. But I would not have been able to achieve this if I did not have Jayne to teach me, she is so kind, passionate and always helpful. She's really encouraging and super supportive when I need it the most, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you so much Jayne!

Hi, I am Molly. Jayne is my keyboard teacher and Marion teaches me Clarinet. I have been having online music lessons with both Jayne and Marion and they are amazing. I recently took an online exam and got a Distinction and even though my teachers can’t be next to me the lessons still really work which helped me get a great score. Students !, these online lessons are brilliant 

I have been doing my keyboard lessons on FaceTime during lockdown. I really enjoy this and it motivates me to practise. I recently took my Grade 1 exam and got a distinction. Thank you very much to my wonderful teachers (Mrs Davis at the moment and Mrs Birch, when I had lessons at school). It has given me the opportunity to learn some new songs, as well as working on my grades. I am grateful that my lessons can continue and recommend it to others.

The online lessons have been a great way to keep up with and continue to improve my singing during the lockdown period. I have been working with Dale and he has been fantastic offering genuine advice and tutoring despite the change - and the lesson quality is just as good as face-to-face. It has been incredibly useful to maintain the practises I have been taught during my previous lessons (with a few reminders here and there) so I believe it was a good idea to keep up the lessons online. We have also had the opportunity to experiment with various live recording set-ups due to having to get the sound through the computer!

I have been working with Ryan for a while now and we are currently working towards achieving my next piano grade. He has been incredibly supportive tutoring good technique and building up my skills, as well as open to exploring the theory behind the pieces I am learning so that I can better understand the meaning behind the music. We have even explored a piece I personally requested to learn and Ryan analysed and broke down the notation and techniques with just the same high quality!

My daughter Aimee has been having singing lessons with Dale for over 18 months, I have noticed a vast improvement with the tone in her voice and confidence, over the past couple of months and due to the current situation Dale has been virtually tutoring Aimee on a weekly basis, this has been brilliant as it ensures Aimee continues with her progress and also gives her something to do whilst not at school, I would highly recommend Dale from Telford Music School, his experience and knowledge in singing is amazing and he always encourages Aimee to do her best whilst also making it enjoyable.

Even though lockdown has stopped me from going to the music school I have still been able to learn new songs and improve others. I was having trouble with setting sounds on my keyboard but having video calls helps me set new sounds up and now I can play the song how I would normally while in lessons (with sound changes and all). Jayne has helped me get ready for my grade 3 which I will be taking soon because of these online lessons. Without them I would still have to learn a new piece and perfect the old ones after lockdown which would mean I wouldn’t be able to take my exam until next year. Thank you Jayne :)

Steve is a great drum teacher for my son and he has certainly improved a lot since starting. Even during these difficult times Steve has been great emailing things over and conducting the lessons remotely. All the staff are very friendly and can't wait to get back to normal” Thank You all for your support during the online lessons. They are all going really well. ”A woman in Love ...After being very doubtful that music or playing an instrument could be taught sucessfully over the internet but missing my music lessons with Jayne and realising I was loosing the inclination to play my organ as I kept playing the same pieces , I thought it was time to give the online lessons a try. I must say I have been most impressed at how Jayne has been able to inspire me and help me with my music just by connecting via my ipad. A woman in love is a piece which Jayne helped me to put together in last weeks lesson and after a few days practising the difficult phrases with the extra notes Jayne suggested we insert I managed to perfect it and decided to video it to show what can be achieved . So Thank you to jayne Jayne for getting my enthusiasm back up and running.

I've been going to Telford Music School for nearly a year now, and am working towards my Grade 1 in piano. My teacher Ryan is incredibely patient, knowledgable, relaxed and passionate in his approach to teaching. This has allowed me to progress quickly than I have done before with previous teachers. I highly recommend Telford Music School as all the staff are super friendly individuals, who love music and teaching.

Since the start of quarantine I’ve been having online lessons with Jayne, it was somewhat strange I admit but these lessons have progressed my music and motivated me to keep up with my keyboard practice through the weeks and given me something to work on during lockdown boredom. Ice castles is a piece I started just before lockdown and I have been able to perfect it with Jayne’s help along with my other grade 7 pieces. Without the lessons I probably would have not practiced or tried to learn any new pieces as much so I am very grateful for the opportunity that Jayne has given me. After 10 years of playing I wouldn’t have thought the quality of a virtual lesson would be up to the standard I am used to but here is the proof to the contrary. Thank you Jayne!!
